Discovery of new pro-oncogenic member of the DTX3 family

We gladly announce the publication of our experimental work related to the discovery of a novel and functionally independent variant of the DTX3 family of E3 ubiquitin ligases that we first found expressed in a human mesothelioma cancer cell line. The peer reviewed article has appeared on the International Journal of Molecular Sciences [IF 6.2]. Our team successfully sequenced and verified full-length sequence of the cancer-expressed variant of the tumor suppressor gene DTX3C which has been deposited on the expert-reviewed GenBank international database. the study provides original insights on the function of the cancer-driving biological switch we initially described in 2019
